Doxstar Pro
Doxstar Pro – A new improved stronger formulation replacing the old Doxstar. The active ingredient is included at a higher rate therefore less chemical is required per acre. The new pack size has been reduced from 3 litre to a 2 litre pack size whilst still covering the same area. The new formulation gives excellent control against Docks, Common Chickweed, Daisys, Dandelines and other common annual and perennial weeds. Doxstar Pro can be used from early spring right through to late autumn. This is not a clover safe product, apply to grassland 7-10 days before grazing and 21-28 days before cutting hay or silage. Pack Size 2 litres (treats 2 hectares or 5 acres)
Pastor
Pastor is the leading product for broad spectrum weed control in permanent grassland such as horse paddocks, and will control problem weeds including common nettle, curled and broadleaved dock, creeping and spear thistle. Whether you have long term pasture or hay meadows, Pastor is a suitable product to effectively tackle your weed worries!
Pastor allows a flexible application program for established grassland management, where rates can be adjusted to suit weed size and spectrum. Single applications and split applications are supported to allow optimum timing for control of weeds.
MCPA
MCPA-A selective herbicide recommended for use on Thistles and Rushes in established grassland. MCPA is a well known and long established herbicide. It can achieve excellent results once used at correct timing and growth stage. Thistle and Rush control is very affordable when treated with MCPA. This is not a clover safe product. Apply to grassland 7-10 days before grazing and 21-28 days before cutting hay or silage. Pack size 10l (treats 6- 8 acres).
Grazon 90
For the control of most perennial broad leaved weeds including nettles. It can be used on amenity grasslands such as golf courses and also on grazing land.
Grass is resistant to Grazon 90 so selectively kills off broad leaf weeds leaving grass healthy.
It must be applied to actively growing weeds.
D50
D50- Is a selective herbicide recommended for use on Ragworth, dandolines, buttercups and thistles in established grassland. D50 can also be used for general weed control in lawns. This chemical is best utilised when used during the period of maximum growth, usually when the flower buds are beginning to form. D50 should not be used on Ragworth after the month of April. For lawn applications D50 is a very good all round product that can be used right throughout the growing season. This is not a clover safe product. Apply to grassland 14 days before grazing or until ragworth is dead and 21 days before cutting hay or silage. Pack size 1&10l (rates vary).
